Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Simultalive, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

2. Service Description

Simultalive provides an AI-assisted simultaneous interpretation training platform. It is intended for educational and professional development purposes. It is not a certified examination or accreditation service. Scores provided are indicative and for self-improvement purposes only.

3. User Accounts

• ▸You must be at least 16 years old to use Simultalive.
• ▸You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• ▸One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits is prohibited.
• ▸You must provide accurate information when registering.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid plans are billed monthly. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact support@simultalive.com within 7 days of a charge.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use Simultalive to:

• ✕Record or transmit illegal, harmful, or offensive speech
• ✕Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
• ✕Share your account credentials with others
• ✕Use automated tools to artificially inflate leaderboard scores

6. Intellectual Property

The videos used in interpretation sessions are licensed for use within the Simultalive platform only. You may download your own interpretation transcripts for personal use. You may not redistribute Simultalive's content, interface, or scoring methodology without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

Simultalive is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding any claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
